Oxford International College is the top performing Sixth Form college. In 2019, the college has earned the top slot in the UK Independent Schools league tables after its students achieved record A-level results.
Established in 2002 by a group of experienced educationalists lead by Dr Mario Peters, the organisation has grown into one of the most successful private tutorial colleges in the UK, welcoming students from the UK and all over the world. The College has grown every year since its foundation and is now securely settled into modern teaching premises at London Place and a large, modern Hall of Residence just 7 minutes walk away. London Place is a long-established educational site which has been completely refurbished by Oxford International College as part of its long-term commitment to growth and enhancing the student experience.
Since 2008 Oxford International College has been at the forefront of developing international education in mainland China in partnership with BE Education Ltd, a British-run company and one of China's leading education and school management organisations which specialises in preparing students for entry into top-ranking schools such as Eton College and Westminster College. Further schools across China are being planned for the future. To date we have established two schools in Changzhou and Chengdu.
Two other companies form part of our education group – Oxford Science Studies and Oxford Summer Academy. Oxford Science Studies are highly successful revision specialists running courses for GCSE, IGCSE, A-level and IB students during school holidays. Residential courses are offered during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays, as well as non-residential courses during the three half-term breaks. The Oxford Summer Academy is a unique programme designed for high school and college students aged 16-20 years. Participants are introduced to the unique academic and cultural environment of Oxford and the programme includes academic tuition, electives and a wide range of cultural activities and excursions. The Oxford Summer Academy is based at St Edmund Hall, Oxford University each July.
